I grew up sailing in the Gorge and always loved seeing John windsurfing with his gorgeous sails. I always dreamed of having one! This past summer, John was kind enough to let me use one and gave me many helpful pointers on improving my sailing. I now have one of his sails, and it is my favourite! On low wind days, I can use a much smaller size and still have more power than a bigger sail. It is so easy to manage and manoeuvre, even as a short person. I love how it maintains its shape, and it feels very easy to jibe with. I can’t recommend these sais enough!

MY FIRST IMPRESSION was how light the sails feel in the hands, and how it just want to go fast. What surprised me the most was how manoeuvrable these sails are. Even the Extra Large XL sail was incredibly easy to handle. It has the feel of a 7.0 m² sail, which is really impressive for a sail that is about 9.0 m². It is comfortable, balanced, and easy to move in all conditions. The cambers rotate smoothly, with very little friction, giving the sail a fluid, clean feel during gybes. They all hold gusts extremely well and remain stable when overpowered. Even when sailing with a bit too much sail for the conditions, I feel in control. The sail turns the gust into what feels like unlimited acceleration. Overall, I feel these sails were designed for a very wide wind range and with one or two sails, I can cover my needs. This, is their biggest strength. Here I am on the XL sail in 10-15 knot winds. (Video)
